My dumbass forgot you get the current season pass when you buy the current expansion. So I ended up with season of the deep 3 days before it’s gone.

But then I remembered about the whole steam 2 hour refund thing. So that got me thinking, what’s to stop people from just buying the current expansion, getting the season pass loot, then refunding it?

If you look at the store page for the season, it says "This product is not eligible for refund"

So you can’t refund and use it to get next season

While yes you loose the current season pass loot because you have only 2 days left. You still can play the seasonal activity and get the hidden exotic quest from fishing till February 2024. So not entirely worthless

(You could also spend 100$ and buy season pass level 100 to not loose any rewards)

Or speedrun as many seasonal challanges as possible, I believe all of them get you close to 100
