I've been hearing about how there's, like, three or four mutually exclusive activities to do in Deep Dives, and a bunch of collectibles too, so I'm trying to understand what I should be doing before trying it out.

At the beginning of each combat encounter a little toland thing will spawn and if everyone activates it and itll make that level more difficult and there will be a boss

If you activate toland youll need to do something to activate it, it could be destroying blights that spawn or standing in white glowing puddles
honest storm
If you've collected exotic fish in each fishing spot you can dunk them in the helm to get blade pieces
You can use this to activate 3 statues before the first and 2nd encounter to do the exotic mission
(Spoiler) it is quite challenging and recommend a good gear and a competent fireteam

Theres collectibles for your fish tank too if you care about that but id recommend watching a vid for them because theyre in the water and youll drown
