#Returning player here, what legendaries should i farm for to get back in business ?

Basically Title, names will suffice ! I've been away or very casual for the past 2/3y, a lot of stuff happened and to be honest it's very overwhelming...

Any suggestions, i plan to reach master and raid more often ?

Returning player here, what legendaries should i farm for to get back in business ?

To add more context:
So far, i plan to get Outbreak, Divinity and perhaps Gjall in the exotics department.
I have Whisper already, but i guess it's not as extreme as it was back when it came out ?

Riptide with chill clip, or deliverance with chill clip. Hothead with explosive light. Unforgiven or funnelweb or gnawing hunger

get (if you can) ikelos smg, great for pve builds, and craftable, if can’t craft, any roll with voltshot

can’t get ikelos, the hero’s burden from iron banner with destabilizing rounds

ikelos, u can farm from gunsmith bounties, and the heros burden you can farm from iron banner

-if you have access to vow of the disciple (aka if you have witch queen), you should get a forbearance and a cataclysmic (and maybe also an insidious if you need a pulse but it isnt ''meta'')

-all the weapons from the duality dungeon are A/S tier imo except the pulse rifle
-Kings Fall has my personal favorite energy scout AND kinetic pulse rifle (doom of chelchis and smite of merain)

-having a good dissorienting nade gl (preferably with auto-loading or something like slideshot) in both kinetic and energy is good to have

#

(kinetic: pardon our dust, ignition code, lingering dread; energy: truthteller, wilderflight, empty vessel)

-slug shotguns, while no longer being meta, are still a great option for a special weapon (primarily for killing majors). my personal favorites are heritage for kinetic and first in last out for special

#

-get a succession, imo its not only the best kinetic sniper, but the best sniper in the game at the moment. very versatile weapon

#

-get a rocket with auto loading explosive light. you can also get a rocket with demolitionist explosive light (this is especially good on solar warlock).

if possible, you could also get one with field prep and clown cartridge (currently only possible on hothead iirc). this works wonders when paired with a gjally

#

-finally, some exotics that i would recommend getting: witherhoard, arbalest, izanagi, divinity, gjally (these five are the most important and should be your #1 priority in terms of exotics)

some other good ones are ager's scepter, trinity ghoul, osteo striga, tractor cannon, bastion (this one has niche uses), anarchy, lament, parasite, (maybe) sleeper simulant

one more thing i forgot to mention: in terms of primaries, the best option currently are smgs.
