Heyo, i started 4 days ago, and i have a lot of questions about weapons.
1: Which weapon should match my subclass element? The one that i use the most?

2: Which weapon should be the exotic? The one that i use the most, or some situational op thing? What are good exotics for pve?

3: Where can i check what those so called godrolls are on weapons? Any website explaining it?

4: I have one exotic token, should i get something from the monument, and then get token quest from Xur, or save it till Xur will sell something interesting?

  1. There are builds with kinetic primaries (meaning no element), but if ur asking then for example void hunter, gyrfalcons (chest piece) with void primary

Usually matching subclass element is how you get most out of your build

Additional info: Im playing solar hunter, and armor exotics are gonna be either young ankharas spine hand armor, or ophidias spathe chest armor

  1. Its hard to explain to a newbie but most of my builds are built on legendary primaries for example arc hunter, w/ ikelos SMG with voltshot (gun perk)

So maybe if ur solar hunter calus mini tool with incandescent would be pretty good

With exotic gear on solar hunter i cant recommend as I dont play it but celestial nighthawk is pretty good for big chunk of dmg from your golden gun super

idk if calus mini tool is obtainable but u can farm dares for a red border (craftable gun) bxr which u can roll with incandescent

  1. If you mean exotic cipher then I recommend for first determine which exotics you want. If those are in exotic archive, you will need ascendant shard as well
#

Remember this: go to collections page click exotic and hover above exotic you want and you'll see source which tells you where to get it

Example: source: exotic engram (means any world drop) that's pretty much every weapon except raid and archive weapns

And what's about gear. Source is either exotic engram or legend lost sector solo

Yeah, i want an smg, so i guess calus is gonna be the one thaat i can go for in the long run

from exotics i was checking tarrabah and vex mythoclast since theyre solar too, but idk if they are any good

You can get mythoclast only from vault of glass raid. Raids are 6man activities that require real time communication. The chances of it dropping are minor

#

For tarrabah you must have 240 spoils of conquest which are earned in raids as well
