#Is there a recommended power level to start focusing on builds rather than gear with higher power?

just started playing d2 and I'm currently 1760 w/o artifact on my warlock and wanted to know when should I stop just putting on whatever increases my power level and paying attention to my stats, mods, and exotics.

One tip I would give is if you get a high stat (above 60, in stats you want) armour piece that is legendary, keep it and upgrade when you can.

#

And if you are not sure it is good, consider putting in the vault for later when you can focus on build crafting better

#

Be sure to use DIM it is an online vault, you will not need to travel to the tower each time.

And be sure to search for Amour picker D2 this website is for advanced build crafting

#

Hope that helps

Some details about armour, the maximum stat on a legendary piece is 68.

#

the top 3 stats (mobility, resilience and recovery) and the bottom 3 stats (discipline, intellect and strength) are split. Each with a maximum of 34.

#

So for example you get a piece with 2 mobility, 2 resilience and 30 recovery. This is the maximum you can get 2+2+30=34

#

The minimum in a stat is 2 btw

If you get a armor piece with a stat over 20 or a total over 60 store it

#

When you run out of vault space find similar rolls and delete the bad ones

#

Repeat

#

Once you start doing master dungeons throw everything away and repeat with artifice armor

alright will do, one question though would it be better to hard grind one character then move to the next or do multiple together?

#

i plan on grinding all 3 just wanted to ask which would be more efficient if you know by any chance sorry

For power it's technically more efficient to go 1 by one

#

But it really just doesn't matter man

#

I was 1800 week 1 playing a single character

#

And 1806 week 2

#

Power gain isn't a concern this season
