#Confusion about the Crafting and Deepsight Resonance stuff.

Is unlocking patterns completely random or is it completely a certain set amount of them you get?

I have gone through about 40 to 60 of them and have barely unlocked any kind of patterns while a few friends seem to be unlocking them left and right.

For reference I am a returning player from around Season of the Chosen so I barely understand anything so far here

under the triumphs tab, then patterns and catalysts, it list them tells how many patterns need for each, can then craft weapons you get from certain places, so see what can get and want then do

Then with yr other red boarder ones use them, to attune it, then able to extract deep sight resonance from it, use this in making yr patterned weapons.

Each time you get a specific gun with a red border (that is craftable, guns that are uncraftable can still randomly roll with a red border),

And complete it’s objective or dismantle it, you get progress for that specific weapon

Most weapons require 5 red border drops, but some only require 2 or 3 (or in rare cases just one)

Once you’ve completed it, you can craft it at the enclave

#

Some weapons require resonant elements to craft, and others require harmonic elements

#

Harmonic elements are used for the craftable raid guns and are only acquirable from dismantling raid guns, while resonant elements are for joe normie guns.

You have to level up crafted guns by getting kills with them (or completing activities while they’re equipped), and doing that lets you have more options for perks and such

#

You can see all of the weapons you can craft (and your current progress) by checking the “patterns and catylists” tab in your triumphs page

I took a bit and realized that a lot of the patterns are RNG based when getting something like Commemoration so it takes far longer to deal with mass RNG on getting red borders

#

Unfortunately I really don't have that RNG and things will take their time.
