Yes, pulse rifle . Aggresive/ adaptive / high impact and still no progress

I have the same problem. I tried at first: Veles-X, Insidious and Sacred Providence in strikes. No count. Also tried grenade launchers in Gambit: Canis Major, Cry Mutiny and Explosive Personality. No count.

Is heavy GL Mayhem killing guardians the best bet in my case?

Freelance gambit doesnt count. do it in regular gambit and it will count. I did it in vanguard playlist. since it's void burn this week, i just use void heavy Gl with chain reaction and done in like 3 strikes.

I just did regular Gambit with Canis Major and several multikills (+3 or +5 kills in short time) and no count.
