anyone know if you can change what you want your main account on like can i cross save my xbox to pc then unlink from xbox and still keep the account on pc

If you unlink it then you don’t keep it on pc I believe

You can always just unlink to try it out and if it doesn’t work just link it again

if this is about DLCs; the purchase of DLCs is tied to each platform. So like if you buy an expansion or the anniversary bundle on Xbox, you're never getting that content on PC w/ out buying it over there too :/

To add to what DocKillJoy said, expansions are not cross platform but the seasons are.

I play on both xbox and pc with the account I started on the xbox

its nothing about dlcs i have 3 accounts with all the dlc it was just because i dont have my xbox account anymore and i cant authenticate it to activate cross play

I would guess that somewhere in Bungie.net you should be able to configure which account is the “main” or maybe just a way to purge the link between Bungie and your old Microsoft account.

Seem like when they announced cross-save there was a process of choosing between multiple accounts on different platforms and merging them down to one unified. You need to find that.
