Completely new to endgame, where should I start?

Only interested in PvE, own all dlc except lightfall per-order, previous season, and 30th anniversary, own no important weapons, what should I do to get into raids

the best thing to do to get into raids honestly is start with dungeons, especially Duality

Duality has a lot of really good weapons that are good for raids

you can also uh farm some seasonal weapons which are pretty good as well, namely This Season(plunder), and Risen(S16) weapons, from Ketchcrash/expedition, and Psiops respectively also have some good choices

maybe get some exotics from kiosk like Lumina, Izanagi, witherhoard

I forgot to mention, I've done king's fall once when a group of friends pretty much told me everything to do through it, not sure if that makes a difference though

What weapons would you recommend from this season?

I actually already have all three of those exotics from that recommendation for king's fall, luckily

What should I do to actually learn the content, does this server do new player friendly raids or do I need to watch some guides or something to know everything first?

the scout & sidearm are pretty good with voltshot, the shotgun is very good for a slug until you get Heritage from DSC

in terms of learning content, i would both watch a video AND get a sherpa from #find-a-sherpa as having both as references can be very helpful to making the most sense out of the encounters

most sherpas in there are cool and patient

plus, seeing an example while having an explanation on hand are both pretty useful

Also, I see a lot of stat stuff and I'm not quite sure how it works. Do I need to have perfect rolls before I start doing this kind of content, and how do I get them if I do need it

it’s a perk, basically by getting a kill and reloading, that gun will have like shockwave rounds that are very good for ads.

not at all, obviously they can help but you can clear raids/endgame stuff with any stat distribution

I’d specifically recommend taipan for damage phases

The only gun better than taipan for direct boss damage is cataclysmic from vow of the disciple and technically reeds regret which is a gun from trials

For some bosses you’ll want stuff like lament from beyond light or xenophage from shadowkeep

Lament specifically is only used for a few encounters in a few raids

And xenophage’s usefulness comes from its massive damage to vehicles and damageable objects

if u have decent dps weapons u should be fine w/ a sherpa. I suggest getting a craftable linear fusion (either taipan-4r w/ triple tap+firing line or cataclysmic w/ 4th times the charm+bait and switch)

witherhoard is a good option for ad clearing then. Other than that just go ahead and jump in a raid, doing a ton of prep with guide videos will only help so much but u gotta experience them for real

i would suggest doing a solo of the third encounter of deep stone crypt
