tips for solo disgraced hunter GM?

I've been at this for a good few hours with an arc hunter+assassin's+1-2P shotty.

main issue i'm having is I can't seem to consistently damage barriers enough for a kill, as in it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't even with well of ions. any tips? thanks

dont bother with the shotgun if barriers are the problem then use arbalest

my loadout was arbalest, insidious, cataclysmic on a solar hunter

no special mods besides ammo finder thermoshock and scavenger

Well you can take out the barrier in two punches with otp

Maybe cause you didn't dodge to get the melee back?

well i dodge, shoot punch then punch again while he gets jolt-zapped

and sometimes it kills, sometimes it leaves them with a tiny bit of health

i even use high energy fire and well of ions for extra damage but it still doesnt guarantee a kill

idk it's weirdly inconsistent. like sometimes it works, sometimes not. no idea when its which

there's also the problem of vandals tracking me while invis

that's why im stuck in the open area with the shriekers

The only reason j can think of then is bc you're not hitting all pellets tbh
