normal weapons don’t drop red borders after the first one every week

but if u get the adept versions they have a chance to drop red borders

#

so ur best bet would be getting an adept of the weapon u want, then buying it w spoils until u get enough red borders

I don't think you have to get adept versions of a weapon before you can get red borders... That doesn't really make any sense

For example I've gotten a Deliverance red border, and do not have the Adept version in my collection

I'm seeing conflicting info about whether spoils purchases can drop as red border, but the encounter drops definitely can, and appear to be farmable

Right, you have to have gotten an item from the raid to drop before you can purchase it at the end chest, but how would Adept factor into that?

in vow you can't get red from adept buys unless they changed that one to but in KF you can

in KF the horrowed weapons which are that raids adept weapons, you can buy them from end chest and have a chance for them to be red box

So buying Adept weapons at the end of Master Vow cannot give you red borders? But purchases from regular Vow, KF, and Master KF can? That seems... odd

you need to master KF to buy horrowed weapons but those can be red, Vow last i knew you couldn't unless they changed it

Purchases on normal can never be red borders after the first weekly one
Purchases on master (which you need adept version in collections) have a chance to be red borders, it’s not guaranteed, but it’s possible

So on average yeah it takes like 200 spoils to get a red border outside of the weekly ones
