Yeah, out of the 7 wins you need to get to the lighthouse, you need to get at least 5 consecutive wins with no losses in between, after those 5 wins, you can lose as many times as you want, but you need to complete the pass (which needs 7 wins total for the lighthouse to be available to you)

what you said is correct. you will still need 7 wins in total, not streak on that passge to get to the lighthouse, then the chest will give you a shader, some guns, and other things. If you don't have any flawless shaders, your chance is probbly 1/11 if the whole TotN pool is added.

All of the shaders are in the reward pool on a knockout system, one per eligible lighthouse visit (that is, one 5+ streak per week). It was described in the heresy crucible update news item on the bungie site.

trials is honestly just a lottery with a little skill on the side. I love the shader because it's the only clean true white shader, and ive had heavy regret for almost 10 years for not getting it

my advice is to just jump in and play for a while, you'll slowly learn what to do and how to play, then you may just get a lucky 5 streak. I suffered over a hundred hours for all 7(8) shaders
