I believe you need to place the relic in all of the deposit points. If I recall correctly there should be atleast one of them in the final 3 lanterns before the last one where you deposit it and hold the plate

in D1 you could skip them

I would prioritize a really different mindset when playing extraction shooters

when I played marathon solo it felt really scary btw no jokes
