Right now I am debating internally: Is this a failure of game design? Or is this a sort of design that is going to be lost to time as the tastes of the general populace have changed? Should they adjust to appeal to more people at the cost of this way of story telling?

I am not sure if I would like them to do a cutscene, let's say, of every lore tab that was interesting. And some things wouldn't translate well into a cutscene or gameplay etc.

It is a tough question, but I can see why people prefer either.

Depends on the team’s dps. From what I recall you’ve ~22s of sere dps phase and each compel adds 3s. If you can’t reach damage threshold, sere opens all arc canisters

I usually compel 2 kill 3 when solo for a safe 2 phase, kill all when in a team. You’ll know you’ve to compel more if you can’t hit damage threshold

Quickly check eververse -> expansions to ensure game recognizes you've year of prophecy ultimate edition (it should say owned). If still you can't find the goodies raise a ticket on Bungie's forum under accounts section, Bungie usually responds to purchase related queries promptly
