since the exotics are class specific you have to do the campaign again on a different class on legendary to get it. the OTHER way is to unlock novelty decoding (i think its the last page of rahool) which lets you yoink any exotic from the game - even ones that you have not unlocked normally.

just getting back into destiny and havent gotten a lot of the older exotics like arbor warden/ hazardous propulsion. To farm these is it still just rng in the lost sectors or are those kinds of exotics just found natrally through engram drops and activity rewards?

Not entirely sure, so don't murder me if I'm wrong, but I think Hazardous Propulsion comes from TFS campaign. Arbor Warden I'm not entirely sure where/how that one drops.

Again, I'm not entirely sure, so don't murder me if I'm wrong, but I believe that lost sectors now just drop exotic engrams and you can take them to Rahool to decrypt into specific armors (if you have the currency for it)

It's been a hot minute since I've had to chase anything like that, so I'm digging deep into the old memory banks regarding this stuff

Hey, I'm a returning player from Final Shape and I wanted to ask. Doesn't the tiered loot system feel like a step backwards? I feel like it was completely unnecessary and basically soft sunsetting. (again)

Like they scrapped weapon crafting and made the power level a grind again, and I'm kinda confused because I thought those changes were a good direction for the game. or am I missing something?

I have mixed opinions on it, they're supposed to make weapons t5 upgradable and also are bring t5 stuff to all raids/dungeons. So that's decent but I feel like weapon crafting was the way to go
