Raids are more about mechanics. You may want to try out some easier raids like VoG, DSC, GoS, etc. while you keep working on your builds. You should be good with whatever gear you have for most raids, except SE and DP maybe

Master lost sectors have a 1 in 3 drop rate for exotic engrams when done solo (based on experience). E15 on europa is the fastest (and easiest) with <5min per run. It's on rotation every 3-4 days

Can also do legendary lost sectors which are easier but have a lower engram drop chance
