Yeah, weekly objectives add quite a chunk. Raid/dungeon encounters also add small chunks so boss farms can level you up really quick. Some vendors on planets still have weekly bounties which can be done on each character and give sizeable XP but can be boring

You don't need 50 kills, the reason why is says 8/50 is because you have catalyst booster from season pass so only need 13 kills or so
