Praxic is insanely efficient at taking out ads as well as yellow bars and mini-bosses. As long as you've a different dps weapon (I prefer linear fusions, heavy sniper is great as well), it can also proc bait and switch and you're covered everywhere

Can also be used as primary dps in niche situations like Crota

I believe its ammo regen rate will be nerfed next season and it won't be as OP without half the artifact perks boosting it but it's quite fun to use it till then, just like void warlock

play the portal, do activities that have bonus drops as those will match the light level of the end of activity drops you would be getting anyway

if you have no bonus drops just find an activity you find enjoyable and do that until you have more bonus drops, playing in a team also helps since bonus drops now apply to the whole fireteam

quickplay will probably not help much past like 400 light since it doesn't scale up in difficulty (and in score by proxy), just find a solo op/pinnacle op you like and do that while you have no/almost no bonus drop
