I mean for DPS most people are using either wolfsbane, the tether cheese with whatever exotic of choice and how. Praxic usually for hunters with fortunes favor fortunes favor is pretty much the go to hunter exotic besides class item. It depends on what content your playing tbh

Hierarchy creates the guidance ring. If you shoot any bow through it (no mods), it creates seeking projectiles (+50% damage at long range). Now if you shoot a 2nd bow with mod which creates projectiles through the ring, it's a cascading damage effect

Fortunes favor is unironically that one exotic that looks mid compared to "they fly now" and the warlock one, but is actually far and away the best

Since it literally allows the damn-near un-nerfable combo of axe + fortunes favor for really good cqc dps

And it makes almost any modern void gun the best gun by default

so hunter DPS is basically just Hot-Swapping w/e with a Good Shout that has Envious on it

you can Double-Slugs, you can Double-Glaives, you can Double Grenade Launchers, you can Glaive-Shotgun, Shotgun GL, whatever you want

Tungsten String is good in PvP if you're using a fast-firing bow (it increases draw time by 100% but basically makes any direct-hit an instant-kill)
