What frustrates me with the whole rework is that legendaries before year of Prophecy are virtually useless, because they'll never outperform their new gear counterparts.

Bungo just wants to constantly force us to cycle out our legendaries and our armor sets, but I don't feel like grinding out all new rolls.

It's a pain maintaining the balance as it is.

Most looter shooters do this but over an extended period of time. When Bungie introduced the new tier system, concept of balance went out the window. Tier 3s are now similar to adepts from before and game gives you Tier 5s like candy once you're above 470.

Can't really compare regular weapons from before with Tier5s. However, such a drastic soft sunsetting shout be a one time thing

Warlock and titan also have more meta builds. Warlock buddy builds got a major boost. Bungie went crazy with void warlocks. Both contraverse and nothing manacles rock now. Titans can always go bonk hammer or stronghold or fall back to good old consecration

Hunters really need some love from Bungie, rarely see any hunters on raids or dungeon runs these days

Before you do any of that I suggest trying bonk titan gameplay with just subclass setup to see if it's your style. Exotic and shotgun would optimize for damage but if you don't like the playstyle why waste more time over it. So many interesting builds to explore

and between them, titans, and warlocks, they also have the lowest amount of intrinsic self-sustain

making it crushingly harder to stay in a fight if you're getting a lot of heat

grenade builds want 200 grenade, melee builds want 200 melee, 100 super is nice in general, 100-200 weapons can be good if u want the bigger ammo bricks, and for dps u want high super and high weapons

depends on the activity, for solo ops u have to do the side objective, for almost all fireteam ops u have to kill enough stuff, pinnacle ops are just time based

for all of them u gotta finish within the time limit

farming bonus drops probably, and then doing probably arena ops when u are out of bonus drops?

arena ops are also only time based for max rewards
