yep - nothing I did changed anything as all my theorys were not correct. Makes it worse for my frustration, the more wrong theory's I got, the worse the theory's got, the longer it was taking. Then watched YT for answers for them to show the whole mission EXCEPT the part i needed.

I learned the new system, you need to do portal activities and reach the A tier rating or whatever the highest is for your current power level by customizing the activity and adding threats and buffs. It's very straightforward but very different from the old system.

Iirc, it used to be just "the enemies were always higher power than you, no matter what your power was" but now, it's Effective Power Cap. If an activity is at 500 power with a -30 Delta, you'll essentially be treated as if you are 470 power, no matter what your actual number is
