Invasion is heavily RNG based. In 1st week it was too easy, I've completed invasions with a scout rifle quickly and with 0 deaths where folks were jumping around like headless chicken. It's much harder now as most people just summon walkers right away

Strafing run isn't as free as drop pod, namely because you can escape it if you have your dash up, but the drop pod if stuck to you is imposible to avoid.

Renegades is short. While the initial playthrough, assuming you read the dialogue boxes, can take ~6 hours if you do it all in one go, on repeat playthroughs you could probably get it done in 3 by just skipping through everything.

The activity thing is set when going through the campaign. Always the same. They're even special versions specifically for the campaign.

It's to introduce you to Lawless Frontiers in an easier environment instead of throwing you into the deep end immediately.
