Honestly, I just used Specialist for all of my armor, but Paragon for your class item, and maybe arms or chest since those have exotics you'd be using the least.

I feel like armor is easy to figure out for the other classes besides hunter

On second thought, Paragon on the class item, and then Grenedier on the second piece of armor.

That way your base grenade and melee stats are decent.

Then probably whatever stat builds into an exotic the most on said exotic. Your other piece of universal-use armor should probably be Paragon with Health, because that alone will cover your needs for Health and Weapons.

Because Dodge does absolutely nothing for Hunter's universal survivability, you'll need to really min-max to get a 200, because you can't use Health as a dump stat because then you'll lose healing from orbs.
