From what I recall the chest stayed till I collected gear for all characters, 50k glimmer, etc. and only disappeared after everything was claimed

same with volatile rounds (void weapons only) and unraveling rounds (strand weapons only)

you can de activate overload sword from the artifact so it can benefit from the anti barrier effect of radiant yes

there's not really a way to target farm it outside of when it's a daily featured reward
