Thats cause this game gives loot freely with no time restraint, so you want to minimize how much time you spend. If someone is a liability or too slow, you feel like youre not getting your godrolls fast enough or whatever.

Think it checks hardware and then location, if neither match up it gets suspicious. Might fully flag if someone else launched a different D2 account from that same abnormal system.
