Is it that difficult to understand? The threshold for 1% is based on the scoreboard right now. You must achieve a score of the top 1%. However, 3 days before the end of the event this scoreboard is locked, the 1% threshold is set.

The lower that threshold is, the more people that can get it after it has been locked. Idk if i can explain it any better.

No, any gear with the icon having that solid background will work.

(Literally anything with tiers is New Gear current.)

If you mean the bottom right, that's it's ammo type, under the season icon is its tier. None of those matter for New Gear.

Yea, that's why. Shinies always drop at +1 tier, and most events have a base +1 tier.

They'll likely be reverted at some point, but they do nothing different from T5s so it's not a priority.
