A lot of the endgame for gunpla is customization and mods. It involves a lot of grinding down breakoff points and painting them and cell shading

If you want a huge, vast over-generalization: Assuming you like lore and worldbuilding and good missions: get it.

The expansion itself is very, very solid. I personally think it borders on great, and most people who can understand that Kepler is separate from Portal think it's great.

The actual expensive stuff is Warhammer 40k. Armies and painting them get expensive incredibly quickly

It's actually not that rare. At 7 tokens per engram, and being able to carry up to one-forty-something or thereabouts, you can buy 20-ish at a time with a full stack of Strange Coins. I got three Heresy weapons in about 14 engrams, which could be far worse.

I think you'd definitely have to farm and grind for coins to get it, but I don't expect it would take more than a night or two.

and if you remembered to get the "Strange Favor" buff each week, the amount of coins that drop from solo ops is insane for like 5 minutes of effort in Master Quickplay.

If you spend more than 41 Strange Coins at Xur, there's a menu under the Gear (not the weapons tab) menu that says "Strange Favor" and it costs nothing, you just get it and you get a buff for 10 days that increases your Strange Coin drops from activities.

that's okay. It doesn't really matter which activity it is, it's the timer/score rewards that matter. If you get an A you get the maximum, which is two or three.
