I'mma be honest, if they don't walk back half of the changes they made with Edge of Fate (portal and "90% of content not having tiered gear" or powerful gear drops from stuff like old raids), I think the game WILL die by the end of next year

The sad thing about is that conceptually it could work so well, but the execution just hasn’t been done right so far

I think the sept 23rd patch (as far as I understand it will have some of the changes noted in the twid) will help, but it’s a band-aid solution for a handful of foundational problems

Very true, right before A&I I had said to someone else that we were in a “we’ll see” phase with the introduction of new modifiers and how they were all restriction focused

The problem rn is they aren’t really… learning from these experiences at all. Reclaim should have dropped with anything to differentiate it from overthrow and we shouldn’t be doing a +1 power grind, that’s ridiculous

That said, I will also note that the game pre 450 and post 450 are practically two different games altogether at times, post 450 loot is very bountiful in comparison imo
