if you get T3 as a casual drop from ops, your solstice drops will always be T4 and you have 5% chance to get 2x 5-tier solstice drops, which are +2 to your tier

idk if u played any other mmos before, but you deal more dps when you activate additional DoT abilities; in destiny it would be for example witherhoard, but since I was testing only one weapon, one exotic at a time, because it was about an exotic's damage itself
