We lose upgrade modules, we gain unstable cores, which are a temporary currency that gets reset every half a year, which you obtain by dismantling gear above 200 light (which is the permanent cap), the higher light the dismantled item is the more corse you gain

I'm sure you've understood the order but just to be sure you don't have to repeat and waste time, once you've done all 3 overthrows, 4th overthrow will spawn a wizard with a limited window to engage

Good news is wizard always spawns at the same location in each zone so watch a youtube video and familiarize yourself with the area and how to get there quick once 4th overthrow is completed. Same for 5th and 6th

Each overthrow zone has a single wizard which spawns at a fixed location but disappears after a small window. Watching any video to understand the location helps as you don't waste time searching for the wizard.

Order will be something like this -> Zone1 overthrow -> Zone2 overthrow -> Zone3 overthrow -> Zone1 overthrow -> Kill Zone1 wizard -> Zone2 overthrow -> Kill Zone2 wizard -> Zone 3 overthrow -> Kill Zone3 wizard
