They behave differently against bosses. Blind makes them act like they can't see you, such as if your whole team went invisible. Suppression stops enemies from using their special abilities.

i s2g that never happens with suppression. I can't prove it but I basically see no difference when i use it against enemies beyond them being blinded

I actually have an ingenious idea for suppression

it just takes bane's enemy's banes and just removes them

the rocket sidearm is nice since it deals decent damage but honestly timelost wayfarer is a better option if you're not shooting bosses with it, and just going for survival/ad-clear

bc while its a primary & a scout rifle (nobody uses either of those because they're too busy huffing the fumes of rocket sidearms), it can keep up with rocket sidearms for simple ad-clear
