yeah you need to do the encounter challenges on master to get the adept weapons

each encounter challenge gives a specific weapon, and apon doing all of them you get the shotgun

fatebringer is templar iirc, should be fairly easy to farm even with lfg

and if u really want to, make sure to get all the patterns since that gives you a chance to get more perks in a column
