Yes, but that’s rare. For example, I completed the Long Arm quest, then opened the chest to get another Shiny Long Arm, this one adept.

It's always your call but act3 requires you to clear the exotic mission 3 times. You get the weapon on 1st run and can get puzzles/chests on 2nd or 3rd. lfg for expert run.
