VA has generally better response time and better colours but ips is brighter and has better viewing angles. I use ips and personally I'd say that's what you go for. There are many good ips panels that are decently priced and with specs that are pretty good

Plus colour reproduction isn't that bad unless you need it for professional work like video editing or smt similar

I'd say go for a 1440p ips panel if you can

Cos 1440p panels are getting pretty cheap these days and more pixels is something good to have
