Diesel fuel is orders of magnitude more efficient than gasoline you would have less stress on the grid and less fuel usage in general with a switch to diesel but again im no expert

If I were to choose a fuel source, I’d go with Biodiesel. You can reuse oil from restaurants and make biodiesel that way, you get free fuel, and your exhaust will smell like egg rolls. Win win
