yea, rain of fire+empyrean with vex is pretty much the easiest build to use with vex imo
vex's catalyst gives it a temporary 20% damage buff on kills i believe
rain of fire grants radiant on fusion rifle kills, and ember of empyrean extends radiant as well as restoration on solar kills
empyrean is more for keeping restoration up i guess, it helps a lot
