I think my personal favorite thing is every gun and armor thingy is good and works. No level, damage numbers, etc.

Shotguns shred and have good range, snipers are good for crits, smgs are fast and deal with stuff quick, etc

Armor is just given categories like light, heavy, and give bonus to things depending on their type like heals, armor, etc
