2x32gb sticks may be easier to run depending on topology of your motherboard(daisy chain prefers 2 sticks while T-topology should run 4 sticks better). Idk how the heck to describe how to see if your motherboard has either/or especially if it doesn't have the pins visible on the back of the board (SMT dimm slots). I personally can't get 128gb 4000MHz (4x32gb) kit of ram to post above 3466MHz in either 2x32 or 4x32 with a 5800x on an Asus Crosshair VIII Hero.
