i think technically you can make them for private games (i think, havent done it) but the forge mode (to make your own custom maps and modes) doesnt come out till 6 months after release (so like early June) which is very sad, but i think the wait will be worth it

As far as grenade indicators go I for one am not bothered by it. Don't think any Halo prior to this has had them either. Only grenade issue I have is that you have pretty much zero physics interaction with them.

So you cannot use them to jump which is a shame as that has been a thing since Halo CE.
