I know its a really "off-topic" but my cat of 9 years old died of aspiration pneumonia today and i have really hard time to cope with it - as you can probably imagine since im writing here. How to even go to sleep today?

well I personally lost my dog who was only about 4 years old a few days ago and I gotta say it was pretty shitty for me

and to be honest I don’t really have much of a way to cope with it in terms of how his life was because it ended kind of unfortunately

but in a more spiritual kind of way I guess I want to imagine that he really is somewhere else now where he’s enjoying himself and not suffering with a severe disease

so I choose to believe that the universe isn’t cruel and there is some sort of happiness after death where we aren’t affected by the tragedies of our life on earth

and in that way I feel that my dog isn’t in pain anymore and I’ll see him again one day
