I used to tinker with nerf guns and do custom loaded springs on them so I would turn rival guns from 125fps to close to 400fps The 3D printer to get higher quality internals broke the budget so I stopped that hobby

I don't have a smaller nozzle than .4mm but I regularly print at a .12mm layer height.

I hear the max for a .4mm is .08mm

But I haven't tried 😄

My resin printer has the ability to print at .01mm 😄

Yeah the dude that I was taking notes from had a way bigger printer since you had to print rifle parts. Speaking of rifles some of them go out of their way to print rifled barrels to add spin to the rival ball

No, the hobby is amazing for saving money if you are into making miniatures or other models.

But resin printing is another beast in itself.

Tons of safety needs to be considered.

Resin is toxic for both inhaling and contact.

I use a full respirator and gloves when working with it.

I guess the protection equipment is another cost as well 😄 - I use a ton of paper towels. I've gotten better at having cleaner gloves so I can reuse those for a few prints.

Pretty sure Unicorn scales like a normal gundam like Exia. Wing and older are absurdly small. The Sinanju line is just chunky by default but im not complaining. Ive kinda set my sights on the Sazabi next

You should get it, its an absolute treat to build and a very stable model. It can stand by itself on most poses and the joints are solid
