This game sets a new bar for shitty AAA studios.
It should be notied that their only quality 5 stars review praises their "point and click adventure games". And when you play gollum, you start to understand thats where most of the development time went in.
Every release is a mid indie game with kind of ok gameplay, kind of ok story, and kind of ok sales. This was very obviously a cash in on an existing IP.
On their about us page, they just straight up lie.
This game is NOT AT ALL faithful to the books. In fact, it's a mostly non-canon story that has no bearing on any character at all.
Im not even going to screen shot everything because there's too many to count, but most of this is a lie. Almost every "selling-point" listed is either not in the game or the most watered up marketting bs.
It's basically a mobile game with a $70 price tag. False marketing, false reviews, false promises, false apoligies.
