#MonoGame installation on linux

Hello! I'm new to monogame and linux as well. I just installed monogame in rider via the plugin manager. Then installed monogame templates and Content.mgcb by console.

When I hit play I am getting the error in the picture and no window shows up.

My specs are:
OS: Ubuntu 22.04 LTS
Graphics Card: GeForce RTX 3070
Drivers: nvidia drivers 535
OpenGL version: ???

As I was writing the post I realized the command to get the OpenGL version glxinfo | grep "version" throws a very similar error (see the second pic)

Hah! A while ago, I had to downgrade driver version because the computer would not turn on

Well, it seems somehow when installing mono, I screwed up my drivers or something, just tried openning unity and it is failing due to graphics card drivers. I'll try this now

I sometimes wonder how I made it 8 years into engineering 🙂

Restarting the computers fixed all the issues mentioned above

just a tip for incase you hit it again
