I’m genuinely curious to see which Mario characters people want to be added to SSB, so that’s why I created this thread.

i think they should not add any of the extra marios
either make M&L/RPG stuff part of his moveset and paper mario a stage cameo/assist trophy, or don't do anything
three links being there only makes sense because it's a holdover from melee and toon link is an entirely different entity
if anything, there should reasonably only be two links

I’m gonna be honest man I think Mario himself needs to be completely redone
He’s got a pretty outdated and basic moveset that’s has barely any ties to the original games, except for his specials
Like they could at least make his footstool deal damage

I always thought some of his standard A button attacks resembled his Super Mario 64 attacks. But yeah it is somewhat basic
