No, I came up with the gimmick before I came up with the name.
For such a common name irl, there are surprisingly few Matts in fiction, so I decided to consolidate the ones that do exist into a Ring Racers pack.
I guess I figured it’d be a manageable project. Jack Pack would probably be a nightmare, you’ve got Jack Sparrow, Jack Skellington, Jack the Ripper, Jack Frost, Jack-Jack, Jack and the Beanstalk, the list goes on.
Adding the Jack in the Box mascot to Ring Racers would be funny though, maybe if I’m feeling especially motivated I could throw that into a non-gimmick pack.
