but the thing is, there's a device that wont break even in patch 1.1.2
so the lynels are just perpetually trying to roar away the device to no avail

I figured out the culprit
So my mistake was to attach the hoverstone somewhere on the top half of the construct head
so what happens is whatever is attached to the top half of the construct head, will only activate when enemies are nearby
and this property is also gifted to whatever item is attached tot the item that is attached to the top half of the construct head
and the succedding item will also gift this property
which is why the rocket was tied to the laser shooting
if i attached the hover stone to the base of the construct head or anywhere on the bottom half, then those items can act independently of if there are enemies or not
God a wrong placement caused me this much grief

I just figured out a way to get easy Rupees in Tears of the Kingdom! Just find Wizzrobes (Fire and Ice, preferably), and defeat them to get their weapons! Then use Pelison's dismantling service in Tarrey Town to get the Gemstones, and sell those!
