So after playing King of Fighters 95 for quite a bit, I can confidently say that this is my least favorite game in the series so far, not only were my issues with 94 weren't addressed, but they had the gall to make the AI absolutely broken. Also add to the fact that the music is ass and the background is no where near as good as 94. The only redeeming quality about 95 that I can think of is that you can choose whoever character you want for your team, which is important to the franchise moving forward. Otherwise avoid this game at all cost, 94 isn't great, but atleast with that the AI is nowhere near as bad there.

these combos are very tricky for my brain to comprehend

for the non kof players here Every time mr K' here does that small flame burst move, you literally have Five Different other moves you can do out of it

#

and the light and heavy versions of both the flame itself and the follow-ups can have different properties

#

the flame burst (iron trigger [this is the rawest move name of all time]) is a qcf+p motion and goes into:

  • Second whip [f+lp]: used for combos in juggles and is safe on block
  • Second shoot [f+lk]: projectile
  • Second knuckle [f+hp]: used for midscreen combos off of lights
  • Second shell [f+hk]: used as an anti-air and to start juggle combos
  • Blackout [b+any k]: literally a "teleport behind you" move

whats important is that the light version of iron trigger itself doesnt juggle in combos

so i have to do qcf+hp, f+hk, (command normal), and then qcf+hp, f+lp which my brain cannot get

i Can Barely alternate between doing the follow-up for light and heavy options

if i do the light trigger my fingers naturally wanna do the light follow ups only and if i do the heavy trigger my fingers want to do the heavy follow ups only
