there's an offensive guard+4 deco waiting for me at 161

not sure if the 181+ ones give anything yet, but the armor set searcher hasn't started adding crit boost+ 4 to the results, so I would assume it's not that

I'm sort of at the point where I'm getting so many top tier skills from my armor and my augments, that also having them on my talismans might actually be too much

so maybe the god charm I'm waiting for won't even be that good

unrelated to anything but @ sdace i managed to open up my 8bitdo pro 2 and clean the switch and now it's fine. no soldering needed
that said, the switch wasn't visually dirty + you need the proper torx screw bit

also i broke the plastic dowel for the r bumper when opening it (maybe it was already broken but held in place?) but replaced it with a metal one from a 2ds

the other weapons styles i like other than valor/aerial charge blade:
adept DB - most fun weapon imo, a bit baby mode, lets you counter any move and gives a ton of iframes
aerial DB - fun and cool but needs you to farm dash juice
adept GS - GS but with lots of mobility and a counter
valor GS - hit and run playstyle, more fun than it may sound
alchemy SnS - the go-to alchemy weapon
striker Swaxe - hunter art spam, they all synergize very well with each other
striker lance - hunter art spam, they all synergize very well with each other
aerial lance - charge dash oriented
valor LS - broken, baby mode
aerial LS - less broken, less baby, easy red gauge
