shell connects to regular minifig legs/the easier to remove arms so you can "put him in the shell" without feeling like ur dismembering a minifig

i forgot how minifig heads attached while making this but they could work that out

my initial idea was like

the shell would click onto the exterior of a regular fig body

which i guess could still work

then under the shell hes just a beach troopa

i have (almost) every lego mario set up to wave 4

i'm missing a few which includes the more expensive ones except for bowser's castle and some random ones but otherwise it's a near 100% collection

Bro I got the Lego Mario two days ago and it's so much fun, I got the Mario starter set and the Yoshi expansion set and while I love building it, it drives me mad

whenever I try to assemble the set into an obstacle course it keeps falling apart

I've been spending 2 HOURS trying to assemble it and It gotten me so infuriated, why does Yoshi's Gift House keep falling?!?!

Other than that it's a great set (even if it's expensive as hell, 400 pieces of lego + a lego mario costed me 140 CAD)

I might have to buy a table just for building legos because building legos on a bed is impossible I swear

i went through with my attempt at giving him a slouch and i think it works

he's using the basic long arms that the avatars and woody use, so i think its selling better than him standing up straight

his head is also kind of designed after the avatar heads

so it'd be one sculpted mold basically functioning as a modified minifig head

the extra neck room also lets you have his chin, which the avatar figs also get

it is feeling weird seeing mario and luigi without ears, but ultimately its not a gigantic deal i dont think

its fucked up how the basic lego brick palette uses colors almost identical to the mario cast's palette

the fucked up shit to me is that i dug around trying to find Any minifig with regular human ears and the answer is a big fat No
