  • it helps to know that we Are getting nintendo minifigs. zelda leaking proves it, so i believe in that other leak tbh
• even if this wave has no minifigs, i feel stronger about the next winter wave. it sucks we have to wait this long, but i think its only a matter of time. even outside of text leaks things are just aligning favorably

basically, the digital Mario figures like LEGO Mario, LEGO Luigi, and LEGO Peach were originally set to retire (aka LEGO wouldn't be producing them anymore) in 2026. They recently had those dates changed to next year, more specifically July 31st, 2024.

• Their whole line is based around these digital figures. If they're retiring them, it's likely that they won't be making more of the expansion course sets.
• They're keeping Mighty Bowser, NES, etc. which means the Mario theme itself isn't retiring
